Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. I have a few special spots I wander around this time of year where the remains of last year's leaves settle to the bottom of snow melt trickles and create other-worldly colors through decomposition.
About Deborah Hughes
The camera is an appendage through which I explore the desert with an aim to create artistic images of my experiences in the landscapes where I live using natural light and color, incorporating abstract and impressionist compositions. All abstract and impressionistic images created in-camera.
